USER GUIDE FOR MIMOV APP

USER GUIDE FOR MIMOV APP

1. INTRODUCTION

MIMOV is a mobile app that allows you to conveniently and easily monitor and manage your family members’ devices. With this app, you can check a number of details: device location, review routes, view reminders and real-time status information.

The app is available for Android and iOS devices.

2. DOWNLOAD AND LOGIN

The app can be downloaded from:

• Android: Google Play Store.
• iOS: App Store.

Once installed, the first screen displayed is the login screen.

To access the app, you will need to accept the Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy. You can view the content of both documents by clicking on the links highlighted in pink.

Once you have accepted the Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy, you can log in using:

• Google Account (available on Android and iOS).
• Apple account (iOS only).

NOTE: An internet connection is required to complete the login process.

3. PAIRING YOUR DEVICES

Once you have logged in successfully, you need to access to the app’s home screen.

To add a new device:
1. Tap the floating “+”button (pink).
2. Go to the pairing menu.
3. Fill in at least the mandatory fields marked with (*).

The mandatory fields are Device Name and IMEI. The IMEI can be entered manually or by scanning the device’s QR code.

WHAT IS IMEI?

IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) is a unique 15-digit code that uniquely identifies a device.

Optionally, the following can also be added:

• First name.
• Surname.
• Email address.
• Telephone number.

Once you have filled in the required fields, the Pair now button will become active.

4. DEVICE PENDING PAIRING

Once a device has been requested for pairing, it will be displayed as “Pending Pairing”.

Device pairing is not immediate, as the service provider must verify the accuracy of:

• The data entered.
• The identity of the user wishing to link a device.

This process ensures the integrity and security of the users involved.

The pairing process by the provider may take some time and, if in doubt, you can click on the device pending pairing to obtain further information.

If you click on the pending device, you will see additional information from the service provider:

• Service provider.
• Contact email address.
• Telephone number.

When you click on the email or phone number fields, the app will automatically open your email app or your mobile keypad.

5. LINKED DEVICES

Once the pairing request has been accepted, the device will be displayed on the home screen.

From the moment data is recorded, you can monitor the following:

• Device name.
